How to Play Roulette Slot Machines Online

Online Roulette slot machines are very similar to online video slots. The Roulette wheel has been replaced with several slot reels that are numbered with 0 to 36 in black and red. The reels also contain a green 0 (and a green 00 in the American Roulette).

You start things off by choosing your bets on the Roulette table that appears below the online slot reels. This is just a standard online Roulette table with all of the standard Roulette bets. Once you’ve placed your chip(s) on the desired section of the table, hit the spin button as you would in an online slot game. The reels will spin and stop with a selection of random numbers appearing across the screen. Similar to online Roulette, you win if your number(s) appears.

That’s all there is to it! These Roulette slot machines online offer a fast paced variation of the classic casino game that’s very easy to play. They also accept a wide variety of wagers, making them suitable for all pocket sizes.

For more information on other Roulette variations, check out our Online Roulette Games section. To learn more about the different bets, click on our Roulette Bets and Odds. Online Roulette Bets and Odds

New players may be a bit intimidated after their first look at the online Roulette table. There are many different Roulette bets and the layout can seem confusing upon the first glance. The truth is, though, that Roulette and Roulette betting are pretty easy to learn. The basic idea of the game is to put down a bet or two and hope that luck is on your side. However, in order to ensure that you’re making the most out of Roulette betting, here’s a look at the different Roulette bets and odds, their available payout, and the probability of winning them.

Bet: Black or Red
Payout: 1:1
Probability Win: 47.37%

This is one of the most popular Roulette bets because it’s one of the easiest to understand. It’s known as an Outside Bet as it’s placed on the outer section of the table. You’re putting down a single Roulette bet on the winning number being either black or red. That covers nearly 50% of the table so these Roulette odds are pretty decent. However, be aware that it doesn’t cover the green 0 (or the green 00 in the case of American Roulette) and only pays out even money. For example if you wager $1 on black and win, your bet will be returned plus an additional $1, making your total payout $2. It’s a safer bet for those looking for some simple online Roulette fun.

Bet: Even or Odd
Payout: 1:1
Probability Win: 47.37%

This is another popular Outside Roulette bet as it too is simple. Once again, you’ve covered nearly 50% of the board with a single wager, and, once again, this excludes the green 0. Your chances of winning are pretty decent, but this bet also holds an even money payout. If you’re looking for a bigger score with more of a risk, you’ll want to try something else.

Bet: 1-18 or 19-36
Payout: 1:1
Probability Win: 47.37%

This is another outside bet that splits the board in half and has pretty good Roulette odds. You’re placing a single Roulette bet on the winning number either falling between 1-18 or 19-36. This is also sometimes referred to as the ‘low bet’ or ‘high bet’ as you are betting on the low or high numbers on the board. Again, it holds an even money payout.

Bet: Dozen
Payout: 2:1
Probability Win: 31.58%

This bet is known as an outside bet and splits the Roulette table into three sections: 1-12, 13-27, and 28-36. This Roulette bet covers all numbers in the section that’s chosen. It carries more of a risk, though the payout is bigger. It has a 2:1 payout, which means that if you put down a Roulette bet of $1, your bet will not only be returned, but it will also be doubled for a total payout of $3.

Bet: Column
Payout: 2:1
Probability Win: 31.58%

This is an outside Roulette bet that also divides the board into three sections. It’s placed at the bottom of the columns of numbers and covers the 12 numbers in the column directly above your Roulette bet. It too carries a 2:1 payout, which is decent, but the Roulette odds are slightly worse than those bets that divide the board in half.

Bet: 6 Numbers
Payout: 5:1
Probability Win: 15.79%

This Roulette bet is known as an inside bet as it’s placed on the inner section of the board. It’s placed on the line between the two rows of numbers you want to bet on, which means that it covers a total of six numbers. For example, place your chip on the line between 19 and 22 and your Roulette bet will cover the six numbers in those two rows. The Roulette odds on this bet are quite a bit slimmer than those of the Roulette bets mentioned above, but it does hold a payout of 5:1. This means that if you wager $1 and win, you’ll get your bet back plus $5 for a total payout of $6.

Bet: 4 Numbers
Payout: 8:1
Probability Win: 10.53%

This is another inside Roulette bet that covers several numbers at once. It’s placed on the cross section between the four numbers you want to cover. For example, place your chip on the cross between 8, 9, 11, and 12 and you will cover all four of those numbers. Should any of them win, you will get a payout worth 8:1. That’s a return of $8 on a $1 Roulette bet for a total payout of $9. Though the payout may be big, these Roulette odds are a bit slimmer. So, if you’re not into the risk, it’s best to try one of the safer bets.

Bet: 3 Numbers
Payout: 11: 1
Probability Win: 7.89%

This is an inside bet that covers three numbers. It has a similar placement to the six number bet, but instead of placing your chip on the outer line between two rows, you will place your chip on the outer line, positioned in the middle of the row of three numbers you want to cover. For example, place this Roulette bet on the outside line toward the middle of the 10 square and your bet will then cover 10, 11, and 12. It has a massive payout, but the Roulette odds aren’t quite as good. It definitely requires a bit of luck.

Bet: 2 Numbers
Payout: 17:1
Probability Win: 5.26%

This is an inside Roulette bet that covers any two numbers of your choice. Simply place your chip on the vertical line between the two numbers you want to cover. For example, place a chip on the line that separates 14 and 15 and this Roulette bet will cover both of these numbers. Like all of the number bets, the Roulette odds are slimmer than odds mentioned above, but the payout is excellent. This is another one for those players that like a little risk.

Bet: Single Number
Payout: 35:1
Probability Win: 2.63%

As you can see, and probably suspected, this Roulette bet holds the largest payout available in Roulette betting. It has massive payout of 35:1, but the Roulette odds are pretty low. Nevertheless, if you wish to place this wager, just put your chip on your lucky number and wait for the outcome. The odds might be slim, but the payout is pretty satisfying.

Online Roulette FAQs

If one color is hit more frequently than the other, are my odds better betting with it or against it on the next spin?

Because roulette is a game of chance, the odds do not change regardless of which color comes up more frequently. Any patterns that may appear while playing do not affect the outcome of the game. This means that no matter what color you bet on, your chances of winning will always be the same.

Is there a difference between betting on a combination of numbers at once or each number individually?

The difference between betting on a combination vs each number individually is that you have a little more control over the amount you play on the numbers if you play them individually. You can place several smaller bets on each and possibly get a bigger payout, as the odds will differ. Though, if you place a single bet on a combination of numbers, say $6 on six numbers, you can expect a return of around $1 per number if any of them are hit.

What is the difference between American and European Roulette?

The only difference between these two games is the fact that American Roulette offers both a green 0 and a green 00 on the table and the wheel. This extra numbers slightly alters the odds, making European slightly more popular amongst players. For more information on either of these games, please visit our Online Roulette Games section.

How is the outcome of the game being generated?

All online roulette games use a Random Number Generator (RNG). This is a part of the game program that guarantees that all outcomes are randomly generated by randomly telling the wheel and the ball when to stop. RNGs are used on many different online casino games and help to ensure that the casinos are running fair games.

Do roulette betting systems/strategies guarantee wins?

As mentioned above, online roulette is a game of chance. Each result is randomly generated thanks to the RNGs, which means that there really is no way to identify patterns or develop a sure fire strategy that is going to guarantee wins. You’ll just have to rely on good old-fashioned luck while playing. That being said, betting strategies can be used to help control your bankroll. For more information on online roulette systems and how they work, visit our Win Roulette Online section.

Online Roulette Bonuses

There are plenty of reasons why online Roulette is just as good as, if not better, than real life Roulette. One such benefit is the fact that many online casinos offer players the option of promotions and sign up bonuses. These are an excellent way to boost your bankroll and prolong your playing time, which is certainly an appealing thought to all online Roulette fans out there. However, in order to get the most out of these Roulette bonuses it’s important to understand what they are and how they work.
What is a Roulette bonus?

This is an amount of money given to you by the casino in order to entice you to play online and to boost your bankroll. These bonuses can come in the form of sign up bonuses or some other form of promotion. They can also be general bonuses to use on all of the casinos games, or they can be tailored to a specific casino game such as online Roulette bonuses.

How do Roulette bonuses work?

The casino gives you a certain amount of bonus cash when you make a deposit. This is a designated amount on top of whatever you put in. For example, Online Vegas Casino offers players a 100% matchup on the first deposit worth up to $500. That means if you deposit $25 they will match that 100% to give you a total account balance of $50.

These bonuses often come with wagering requirements, which means that you’ll need to wager a certain amount of money in the casino before you’ll be able to withdraw any cash. It’s important to keep this in mind when considering online Roulette bonuses because if you’re just looking for a little bit of fun, you may want to opt out of the bonus. Though, if you’re a more serious online gambler thinking in the long term, this can be a great way to add a little something extra to your account. But, before accepting any online casino bonus, be sure to read through and understand the terms to ensure that you get the most out of these generous offers.

Of course, there are always some excluded games when it comes to online casino bonuses. These are games that you can play, but your wagers on them won’t count toward the wagering requirements of the bonus. Online Roulette sometimes falls into this category, as the house edge on this classic online casino game is so low. It’s easy to make quite a few wagers and find yourself at least making even money.

Though some may exclude online Roulette, there are plenty of online casinos out there that offer online Roulette bonuses that don’t exclude this the game when it comes to the wagering requirements. This is fantastic if you’re a dedicated Roulette fan and looking for Roulette bonuses that will work specifically for your game choice. Just do a little research into the terms and conditions of the bonuses before you accept them to make sure that online Roulette isn’t an excluded game.

How to Play Jackpot Roulette

This variation of online Roulette is very easy to play, as it’s a simple combination of standard European Roulette and a lottery style bonus game. The main objective is to earn points while playing the online Roulette game so that you can gain a chance to pick a box from the jackpot grid.

Once you start playing this online Roulette game, you’ll immediately notice the addition of a box filled with 400 covered squares. This is the jackpot grid and will earn you special prizes. Start things off by placing your bets on a standard European Roulette table. For each €1 you wager on this game, you will earn 1 point. Your goal is to earn 3000 points to get the chance to choose a square from the jackpot grid. That doesn’t mean that you’ll need to wager ?‚¬3000. It means that you’ll get a point for every dollar that is played in the game, meaning that you’ll be recycling bets as you win or lose.

Once you’ve accumulated your 3000 points, you can choose a square from the jackpot grid to earn a bonus prize. Of course, you’ll be aiming for the cash jackpot that gets bigger and bigger with each player placing their bets. You’ll be able to see other players selecting squares from the grid in an effort to snatch the massive jackpot. This is where the competition comes in, as you’ll want to beat them to it. So, accumulate your points as fast as you can so that you don’t miss out on the available cash jackpot.

How to Play Roulette Bingo Online

This game couldn’t be easier to play. If you understand the basic procedures of both online Roulette and online Bingo then you’ll be able to learn and play this new game in no time.

Players kick things off just as they would in Bingo – by purchasing a ticket. Though Roulette Bingo online tickets are a little different, as they look similar to an online Roulette table. The numbers are those that you would find in Roulette, meaning that your ticket(s) will have the numbers 0 through 36 printed on them. They will also be black or red just like the numbers in online Roulette.

Once the game starts, you’ll see that the traditional bingo balls and caller have been replaced by a single white Roulette ball and a Roulette wheel. This is how the numbers are called. Much like online Roulette, the white ball will be dropped onto the spinning Roulette wheel. Whichever numbered pocket the ball lands in is the Bingo number that’s called out. For example, if the Roulette ball lands on green 0, all players with a green 0 on their cards will mark it off as they would in traditional Bingo.

There are different winning combinations, such as marking off two numbers in a line or marking off all numbers on the card. In some online casinos, the player’s numbers are represented by chips on a Roulette table and as the numbers are called the chips are removed from the table. The first player to remove all their chips wins.

It’s that simple to play Roulette Bingo Online. It’s a fun hybrid game that gives players a little something different. Check out our Online Roulette Games for more information on the other online Roulette variations that can be found at many online casinos, or check out our list of top online casinos to get started playing right away!

American Roulette Online

History

The history of American Roulette dates back to the end of the 18th century when French immigrants introduced European Roulette to gamblers in New Orleans. The game was an instant hit, quickly spreading across the US. By the time roulette reached the west coast, a couple of changes had been made and thus American Roulette was born.

The first change made to the game was the addition of the 00. This change added an additional pocket to the roulette wheel and board, taking it to 38 numbers rather than 37. It is thought that this addition was made in order to bring in more money for the casino as the extra number slightly changed the odds in favor of the house. The second most significant change to the game was streamlining the roulette layout. This simplification of the board made it both easier to understand and play thus increasing its popularity.

When online casinos started popping up across the Internet, online American Roulette was one of the first games to make the transition to the digital world. Now, nearly every online casino, including all of those found in our list of recommended Roulette casinos, features American Roulette in their game list.
How to Play American Roulette Online

Playing American Roulette online is possibly even more simple than playing in real life casinos. For starters, you have total control over the game. It’s like being at your own private table where you can really focus on what’s going on. All you have to do is log into your favorite online casino.

Once in the game, you start off by placing your bet. There are many different kinds of bets available in this game, which are divided up into two categories: Inside and Outside bets. The different bets are the main focus of the game, as this is how players win or lose. For more information about the different kinds of bets and odds available when playing American Roulette online, browse through our Roulette Bets and Odds.

Keep in mind that different online casinos may offer different table limits and American Roulette rules. Be sure to check them out before playing. Also remember that American Roulette offers the additional green 00 bet to the American Roulette wheel and table. This addition not only changes the American Roulette rules, but it also slightly changes the odds. Check out European Roulette online if you’d like to play a game without the added 00.

With your bet placed, simply hit the ‘Spin’ button. The computer will take care of the rest. The American Roulette wheel will spin and the ball will drop onto the bottom track. It then spins around the wheel until dropping into one of the numbered pockets. Whichever pocket it lands in is the winning bet. You will then be paid out and the process starts all over again.

It’s as simple as that to play American Roulette online. To get started playing, check out our list of recommended online Roulette casinos, or visit our Free Roulette Online section to try your luck on a free game provided by the ever-reliable Bodog Casino.

European Roulette Online

History

Though Roulette has a rich history that dates as far back as the 1600s, the European version of the game was invented in 1842. Two Frenchmen by the names Francois and Lois Blanc made the decision to add a single zero to the European Roulette wheel in order to increase the chances of winning. The number of pockets was thus taken up to 37.

The new version of the game immediately became a hit with Roulette players and the new European version of the game became one of the most popular games in casinos across Europe. The game soon made the move over the Atlantic where it became an instant hit in America and thus led to the invention of yet another version of the game: American Roulette.

The game’s popularity continued and it soon became a classic that is still featured in many real life casinos. When online gambling began to emerge as a viable industry, Roulette was one of the first games to make the jump from real life to the digital world. With the ability to control the pace of the game, even stopping it to look through online Roulette strategy, it’s easy for beginners to get a handle on the process of the game.

To start playing European Roulette, you need only to log into your favorite online casino and select it on the game list. Once in the game, the first step is to place your bet. For more information on how to use them to your advantage, check out our Roulette Bets and Odds section.

After placing your bet(s), hit the ‘Spin’ button and sit back while the online Roulette game takes care of the rest. The European Roulette wheel will start spinning and the ball will drop onto the bottom track. The ball will spin around the European Roulette wheel a few times before dropping into one of the 37 numbered pockets. The winning bets are determined, paid out, and a new round of European Roulette online begins.

That’s all there is to it! For more information on how to play European Roulette online, check out how to Win Roulette Online.
